#1: Hair Dye
Back at the beginning of February Kesley, Hannah, I decided it would be a good idea to dye our hair purple. ...Ok we weren't that brave. But we did each try a little strand with semi-permanent dye. While it didn't work quiet as well as we had hoped, it was still a fun bonding experience.
#2: Student Assembly
I am currently serving as a freshman representative on our Student Assembly (think Student Government). So far I've really enjoyed it!
#3: Voice Lessons
Although I've been singing in the choir all year, this semester I started voice lessons again and I am loving them! Also, I just found out that our choir will be performing in the Houston area Saturday April 13, and Sunday April 14 if any of you are interested in coming to hear us.

#4: Wolverine Basketball
I actually just got back from Frisco where I had the opportunity to watch Luke's team and the other CHSA teams play in their state tournament. It was so nice getting to spend time with my family, catch up with some old friends, and get an overdose of basketball.
#5: Rugby
What have I been doing on the weekends? Rugby of course! There's a group of about 10 of us that go out and play pretty much every Saturday. We started out with two hand touch as we learned the basic rules and strategy, but the boys eventually got bored with that and decided that it would be a good idea to move to tackle. After overcoming my initial "mom" reaction (aka "SOMEONE'S GOING TO DIE!") I started playing in earnest and discovered that I'm actually pretty good at it. Ha! Who knew!? (Oh wait you might have if you've ever seen me play basketball... :/ )
#6: IM Basketball
After a fairly successful round of co-ed 3 on 3 IM bball (successful being no one was seriously injured and we actually managed to win once), a group of my girl friends and I decided it would be fun to play in the women's 5 on 5. Unfortunately there weren't enough teams for an all girls league so we grabbed some boys and joined the co-ed. We won our first game by forfeit (they heard the Rugby players had hit the basketball court I guess....) and our next game is Monday. Stay tuned to find out how that all goes.
#7: Weekend Home
I was also able to make a quick trip home earlier in February. It was really nice being home and seeing everyone. I had some really wonderful conversations with different folks and overall it was just a refreshing change of pace to my busy semester.
#8: Steam Punk English Country Dancing Ball
Don't worry I'd never heard of steam punk either. If you've forgotten what ECD is read this.

I am now an official member! Whoot! It's so fun being around people who are passionate about learning to lead well and making the world a better place. To read more about why I'm excited about this, check out their website The Austin College Posey Leadership Institute.
#10: Visits From Friends
This month I had the opportunity to play hostess to my friends Kate, Erin, and Anne. It was really cool spending time with them and getting to show them around Campus and Sherman a little bit.
